still from video IDENT produced by Sing-Sing Studio

One of the largest annual developer conferences, Google I/O, came back in 2021 after a year hiatus as a fully virtual event. Building upon the event’s visual identity, designed by creative studio Little Troop, our team at Byte was brought in to create global excitement on social by launching compelling content before, during, and after the Keynote presentation.

For the initial tease phase, we concepted and delivered a rollout of engaging content to build awareness and excitement for the event.

Ramping up to the event, we created a series of teaser videos formatted to each social platform. We utilized influencer footage from the Keynote as well as video idents produced by Sing-Sing.

Additionally, we created social content to recap highlights from the Keynote to post over the rest of the conference. In total, we delivered over 35 individual videos posted between Twitter, Instagram feed and story posts.
